Dawdon Hosts: The Fairclough Family
Dawdon, a former coal mining village, is best known for being a location for the 2000 movie Billy Elliot and is not traditionally engaged with museums, galleries and collections. The ‘Street’ team posted invitation to join in through the letterboxes of Dawdon and 30 households were very happy to host a work.

The hosts were very happy to share their opinions and the artworks, and chat about them with passers-by.
